Little Lety follows the misadventures of a tiny bat hatchling, (although she insists in being called "a vampire"), and her close friends Mina and Lucy, in their efforts to become the most dangerous predators in the forest. She feels no fear -or remorse-, in making all other animal's life miserable with her annoying and stubborn attitude in the process
One day, Lety (the real one) came to me to ask me a couple of questions about her homework. At first, I feel like and old rooster teaching a little chicken the secrets of the farm… and since Lety calls herself “vampire”, eventually the concept evolved into an old buzzard teaching a little bat. I did a sketch of it, but using the same “little bat” concept from the latest sketch. Eventually, the long neck bear become part… Continue reading The long neck bear
Before launching the webcomic, I decide to make a series of “teasers” to introduce the main characters, (also helped me to continue to work in the comic in the meantime). This was the very first of all: Lety, our little protagonist.
Orlok is one of my favorites characters, although is a bit difficult to draw due to the number of legs he has.
Báthory was intended to be the main antagonist of the first season.
Carmilla is what Lety would look like if she were a vampire… but with more brains.
Ruthven is probably the only enemy Lety has that is actually a real threat to her.
Lamia is a poor tortured soul, but fortunately her bark is way more impressive than her bite. (sadly, a centipede’s bite is really, really painful).
Mina is Lety’s best friend, cute, shy and lovely. The exact opposite of Lucy.
Varney is Little lety’s Wolverine (hence the reference). He’s old and grumpy, but as long as he does not shows up his claws, he’s a nice guy.
